Manila, the metropolitan capital city of the Philippines, is the commercial hub of the country. It attracts not least businessmen from all over, but also local and foreign tourists alike. Like other popular past times, golf in Manila is also a sport well-liked by all. There are many beautiful golf courses set in picturesque settings in Manila that provide excellent services and amenities. The most notable among them are Manila Golf & Country club, Club Intramuros Golf Course, Valley Golf & Country club, Philippine Navy Golf Club just to name a few. Manila offers lots of things to do for the enjoyment of its visitors: shopping, nightlife, entertainment, sports just to mention a few and the list is certainly not an exhaustive one. Areas like the Ortigas and the flea markets are quite popular among the tourists, for browsing or simply serious shopping. You can find a wide spectrum of items or souvinirs; from antiques to handicrafts to modern techno rich products and even golf equipment and accessories, you won't be disappointed. Day trips to nearby areas for sight-seeing like a visit to the spectacular Pagsanjan Gorge and Waterfalls is a good in-between golf rounds programme. Others including art and culture tours within the city are also popular.
After-hours entertainment and nightlife are the other mainstay of the city. The nightlife especially is very vibrant and there are numerous bars and restaurants that open late into the night. If you are adventurous, there is quite a variety of such late night haunts waiting to be explored.

A few days of 'golf in Manila' could mean playing mostly the nearby courses but for a few days more, the golf
courses involved would likely include those in the outer 'suburbs'. You need careful planning to streamline
your programme so as to save time on the road. Doing overnight trips to good golf resorts further away is a wise
alternative as is good planning for return transfers to golf courses to avoid mad traffic conditions of the big
city. If you'd played south of Jakarta, you'd likely appreciate the 'Artery to all Golf Courses in Jarkata'
